ACCOMMODATA is registered under the Data Protection Act 1984 No: L0492011.


Thank you for using ACCOMMODATA.  Please mention our name to the hotels when
making your booking, be it for one night's B&B or a major company conference.

Many of the hotels listed have agreed to offer a discount from their normal 
tariff which ranges from 5% to over 20% - but you must ask for it when booking!

ACCOMMODATA lists over 2500 hotels and guest houses.  At the last examination
these ranged from a 2 bedroom B&B in Devon at œ12 per person per night to a
205 bedroom 5 star deluxe hotel in Berkshire at over œ140pppn.
 
We are constantly adding more and more hotels, so please register with us to
ensure you receive regular updates.


REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR SYSTEM
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

To use the program you require a personal computer running DOS v3.3 or later,
at least 5Mb of available disk space and at least 450kb of free base memory.
The program will also run under Windows(TM).


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

To install the program type (if A: is your 3«" floppy disk drive);

A: <press the ENTER key>

then (if C: is your hard disk drive);

INSTALL C: <press the ENTER key>

The program will then copy itself from the floppy disk to the hard disk into
a directory called C:\HOTELS.  The data will be copied into a directory 
called C:\HOTELS\DATA.


NETWORK INSTALLATION
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

When installing onto a network, run the installation procedure on the file
server (i.e. INSTALL I: <enter), then copy I:\HOTELS\*.* to C:\HOTELS (if I:
is the file server's hard disk drive and C: is the workstation's hard disk
drive) to each workstation requiring access to the program.

You will need appropriate access rights to the file server's directory.


GETTING STARTED
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

To run the program, type HOTELS from the C:\ prompt (if C: is your hard disk 
drive) or type GO DATA from the C:\HOTELS prompt.  On a network, type
GO I:\HOTELS\DATA (if I: is the network drive containing the program).

Context sensitive help is available throughout the system by pressing function
key F1.


REGISTRATION + AUTOMATIC UPDATES?

When you register, you will receive the latest version of the program, a
printed manual highlighting specific system features, and a year's worth of
updates, one being sent every 3 months!

COPYING ACCOMMODATA TO GIVE TO OTHERS
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

You are given a restricted license to copy the program and pass it on to your 
friends, family or work associates either within the UK or outside the UK.
The restriction allows you to copy the entire disk in an unaltered and
unmodified format, with no added or deleted bytes.

PLEASE register ACCOMMODATA so that we can tell the hotels, thus making sure
